In a very emotional event project closure it was made with educational institutions run by the Sumaj Huasi Foundation “For healthy housing” and funded by Intervida Educo in coordination with the Autonomous Municipal Government of La Paz, the event took place in the educational unit Delia Gambarte “B” located in the area of Pampahasi.
He attended the School of Environmental Promoters, teaching staff and directors of educational intervention units, representatives of school boards and authorities of the Autonomous Municipal Government of La Paz.
The presentation of awards to principals, teachers, environmental advocates and School Board for their support and participation in this process of sensibilisation on environmental issues was made.
Also it took delivery of training materials, audiovisual educational materials and hygiene kits to environmental promoters, similar material to the directors of educational establishments was delivered with the aim of continuing in teaching students on topics such as hygiene body, a vital resource water, Environment, basic sanitation and integrated waste management.
The technical area of Sumaj Huasi also delivered to the educational units toolkits to make repairs in plumbing and electricity in schools, in order to prevent water seepage among other incidentals.
